McNair Ingenuity is working with ICTV to conduct an audience survey to find out what Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote communities watch on television.

Interim ICTV Manager, Catherine Liddle says, “We want to hear from you. We want to know what you like, what you don’t like, what you’d like to see more of or less of. It will help us to shape and plan ICTV television services and our video on demand service into the future.”

Surveys are taking place in remote communities across remote Australia from the Pilbara and the Kimberley in WA, the APY Lands in SA, Central Australia and the Barkly in the NT to Northern Queensland and the Torres Strait.  Look out for our interviewers and say hello!  One of them is our Chair, Nelson Conboy.  He’s looking forward to being involved.

You can also take part in the survey online.  Click here

We acknowledge and thank the Community Broadcasting Foundation, Melbourne University, South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute, the NT Motor Accident Commission and Horizon Power for their support for this project.

ICTV, showing our way!
