Kimberley Aboriginal Law and Culture Centre (KALACC) - Gambanan 2024

The AGMs of the KLC, Kimberley Aboriginal Law and Culture Centre (KALACC), Kimberley Language Resource Centre (KLRC), Aarnja and Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) was held at Gambanan on the Dampier Peninsula from the 20 -22 August 2024.

The theme of the event was, Tides change, Together we stand strong, acknowledges the resilience, hope, unity and strength of Aboriginal people no matter what challenges we face. This theme is particularly meaningful given 2023’s Referendum outcome.

A focal point of the AGMs will be the Regional Forum on the afternoon of Thursday, 22 August 2024, at which members of the five regional organisations will hear from key leaders about issues of importance to Kimberley Aboriginal people.
