Pipe Up Documentary

Added by Barkly Regional Arts

A school holiday program created and presented by Barkly Regional Arts and funded by Territory Families. Pipe Up is an activity that was aimed at 10-17 year olds and taught young people how to create stencils in which they then designed and spray painted them on to 1.5m - 3metre high PVC Pipes. World famous stencil artist HAHA (Regan Tamanui) spent a week teaching stencil making and local artist Rachel Pelser helped the young people design a pipe each.

This program is also being run in the April school holidays and will have an exhibition outcome at the annual Desert Harmony Festival (3rd - 7th August).
