NATIONAL CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS BLACK EXCELLENCE 2021

The Ngaarda Media team have been honing their media skills over the last two weeks in the Kimberley and NSW.

In April, First Nations trainee journalists from across the nation gathered on Yawuru country in Broome for a two day journalism workshop hosted by Goolarri Media’s Dot West.

Last week, the networking and training continued on Bundjalung country with the Converge national conference taking place after it was cancelled last year due to covid.

It’s the biggest industry gathering to date of the first nations media sector with over 200 delegates in Lismore representing over 50 organisations and more joining online from across the country.
