Desert Pea Media is proud to present Wujal Wob - 'Rainforest Energy' from Kuku Yalanji Country - the Indigenous community of Wujal Wujal in North QLD. Starring a collective of Indigenous young people community members, Elders and knowledge holders.
In July 2025, the DPM Creative Team were invited to Kuku Yalanji Country, as a partnership with QLD Arts, Wujal Wujal Community Justice Group, Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation, The Creative Recovery Network and The Regional Arts Services Network. The project ran for 5 days during the school holidays and engaged young people, community members and local Elders in a discussion around history, community, country, health and wellbeing, cultural identity and hope for a positive future.
