Description The concept came after the completion of the large ghostnet sculptures of Dauma & Garom commissioned by the Australian Museum, Sydney. The interest generated during this work naturally progressed to the idea of animating the story. Dauma & Garom is the first animated story produced on Darnley Island. This movie not only demonstrates the successful collaboration between the school, art centre and museum to document a contemporary local story, but also provided valuable skills development for art centre media personnel.
