Warlpiri Purlapa in Lajamanu
Our CultureAdded by Oz Outback
Description Men from Lajamanu, an Aboriginal community about 550 kilometres south west of Katherine on the edge of the Tanami Desert are painted up and perform "purlapa", men's corroboree, at dusk. This was recorded with an old 8 mm film camera, so the technical quality is poor.
